"The 2007 Chateauneuf du Pape is a blend of 90% Grenache and 10% Syrah from the clay and sandy soil sectors of the appellation and completely aged in cement tanks. It has a dense ruby/purple color and a brilliant nose of blue and black fruits, camphor, licorice, as well as incense and white flowers. It is ripe, full-bodied, with superb fruit freshness and purity, and overall, a full-bodied equilibrium that is extremely vibrant and fresh. This is a beauty to drink over the next 10-15 years.
As I have indicated over the last few years, this is one of the superb newer producers in Chateauneuf du Pape. Their cellars are in the village of Courthezon, which is located adjacent to the very northeast sector of the appellation. Their 2007s are spectacular wines." (Parker's Wine Advocate 179)
