"The 2019 Pettenthal Riesling GG is deep, pure and flinty on the nose that is complex and refined, with flinty, herbal and ripe fruit aromas intertwined with notes of iodine and crushed stones. Saline and pure on the very elegant and balanced palate yet still not with the hedonistic texture and flow of the gorgeous 2020, the still grippy and slightly dryish 2019 Pettenthal is a wine to keep, even though it is already pretty attractive in its purity, freshness and herbaceous finish. 11.5% stated alcohol.
