"Aged on the secondary lees for three years, the 2018 Brut Nature Cuvée Louis is an assemblage of Pinot Meunier (a.k.a. Schwarzriesling), Pinot Noir (a.k.a. Spätburgunder), Auxerrois and barrel-fermented Chardonnay. The nose is clear, fresh, pure and refined but also aromatic and reminiscent of the red varieties (and cherries) rather than Chardonnay along with tart orange and cantuccini aromas. Pure, fresh and vital on the palate, this is a full-bodied, round and vinous, clear and bone-dry sparkling with delicately managed raisin aromas on the cleansing finish.
