Very fragrant, lavender-scented nose. Cherry blossom. Exquisite intensity – yet floral delicacy – on the palate. Alpine strawberries and cherries, cassia bark, pomegranate and juniper berries. Rose-petal florals build towards the finish, moving into the subtlest expression of Turkish delight, although the wine is by no means confected or sweet. Just perfectly balanced, perfect ripeness, the fruit glowing through precise, lightly etched acidity and lithe, diaphanous tannins. (TC)"
