"Michael Andres's 2022 Spätburgunder –N– intermingles ripe, tart and fleshy cherry aromas with sur lie and earthy notes as well as mushroom aromas on the pure, fresh and elegant nose. Lush and silky on the palate, this is a generous and full-bodied yet not heavy or powerful Pinot of remarkable balance and perfect ripeness. It has textural qualities thanks to the very finessed tannins, the unfiltered bottling and the aging in predominantly used barrels. This is an excellent sandstone Pinot Noir from the Ruppertsberger Reiterpfad that aged in 500-liter tonneaux. There are beautiful raspberry and wild strawberry notes on the stimulating, very delicate aftertaste. This is a Best Buy that sells ex-cellar for 18 euros. 12.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork.
