Mosel Fine Wines by Jean Fisch and David Rayer, Issue 52, Juni 2020: "The 2019er Niedermenniger Sonnenberg Riesling Feinherb is a fully off-dry wine (with 29 g/l of residual sugar) picked on over 50-year-old vines in south-west-facing parts of the vineyard (Röderchen and Kleinschock). It offers a beautiful nose made of citrusy fruits, vineyard peach, elderflower, chalky minerals, and some ripe pear and melon. Beautiful flavors of zesty orchard fruits come through on the fully off-dry-tasting palate. The finish is delicate and beautifully complex. This off-dry beauty really needs a few years to integrate its touch of smooth sweetness before it turns into a smashing off-dry Riesling! 2024-2034"
