Wunderschön tiefgründige Pfalz-Würze in der Nase, feines Fruchtspiel, momentan noch etwas von der Hefe geprägt. Auch am Gaumen typische Würze und Mineralität sehr ausgeprägt, deutliche, aber nicht zu kräftige und gut eingebundene Säure steht neben einer dominanten Würze und Mineralität. Geduld. Der hat uns erst am zweiten richtig Spaß gemacht. Seine Vielschichtigkeit offenbart sich mit zunehmendem Luftkontakt.

"Blending the fruits of all the single vineyards of the domaine and vinified in stainless steel (step by step), the 2021 Riesling Ferus is dense and complete on the complex and aromatic yet mineral nose. Pure but intense and grippy on the palate, this is a dense, tight and complex, quite powerful but athletic Riesling with a long, intense and quite powerful finish. 12.5% stated alcohol.
