Black raspberries, candied orange, incense, licorice, and peppery garrigue dominate the bouquet, and it's full-bodied, with a dense, nicely concentrated mid-palate and a great finish. There is a touch of cedar as a result, but it's more of a brief hint, as the nose is dominated by ripe cherries and herbal notes. In the mouth, this is full-bodied, supple, rich and lushly textured, without being a massive, super-concentrated beast. With a long, spicy and complex finish, it's a winner."
